INNA BARANOVA
Inna Baranova, co-founder and principal designer at Baranova Design, has been immersed in the world of art and architecture since a young age. Her journey began with art classes at the tender age of 5, where her innate creativity and passion for design began to flourish. By the age of 12, Inna knew with certainty that she wanted to pursue a career as an architect, setting her sights on a path of artistic expression and innovation.
In her home country of Ukraine, Inna dedicated herself to her studies, graduating with honors from both college and university with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Architecture, respectively. Her academic achievements laid the foundation for a successful career in the field of design.
In 2003, Inna embarked on a new chapter of her life by moving to the United States to pursue her professional aspirations. She was quickly recognized for her talent and dedication, securing a position with a world-renowned architecture firm in New York City. Over the years, Inna's expertise and passion for design continued to evolve, earning her recognition and respect within the industry.
In 2007, at the insistence of her sister Olena, Inna made the bold decision to relocate to California while continuing her contributions to the field of Interior Architecture and Design. This move proved to be a pivotal moment in her career, as it provided her with the opportunity to explore new creative avenues and expand her professional network on the West Coast.
Inna's favorite subject and passion lies in Art History, a field of study that continues to inspire and inform her work. Her extensive knowledge and appreciation for art history enrich her designs, imbuing them with depth, cultural significance, and timeless elegance.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Inna has been recognized for her contributions to the field of design and architecture. She has been inducted into the prestigious Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry, further solidifying her status as a leader in her field.

Olena Baranova is the co-founder and principal designer at Baranova Design, bringing over 20 years of experience in interior architecture and design to the firm’s work. With a foundation rooted in fine arts and advanced training in interior architecture and design, she approaches each project with a balance of artistic vision, technical expertise, and thoughtful problem-solving. Working in close collaboration with her sister and co-founder Inna Baranova, shaping environments that are refined, highly considered, and deeply personal.
Olena’s keen eye for detail and innate storytelling ability, allow her to contribute to creating spaces that function seamlessly while conveying a strong sense of narrative, emotion, and place. Passionate about both design and fine arts, Olena is known for her creative sensibility, resourcefulness, and deep knowledge of art and material specification, which she brings to every project. She thrives on pushing creative boundaries and exploring ideas that are unexpected yet timeless. A particular passion lies in designing custom furniture and lighting, where her appreciation for craftsmanship and form can be fully expressed.

Olena began her formal art education at a young age in Ukraine, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors, before relocating to the United States to continue her studies. She later earned a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture and Design, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Her background in fine arts, combined with decades of professional experience, continues to inform a design approach that is both disciplined and expressive.
